On a claim for breach of contract and violation of the Consumer Protection Act, the Judge erred in refusing to award a tax consultant multiple damages on the basis of a Conclusion that the conduct of a manufacturing corporations executives who terminated the consultants contract in reliance on inadequate and erroneous information supplied by an employee of the corporation was only negligent, rather than wilful, where the Judges findings, supported by the evidence, required the legal Conclusion that the wilful conduct of the corporations employee was within the scope of his employment and was, therefore, attributable to the corporation.
